We welcome diverse contributions to behavioral science research, from theoretical frameworks to empirical investigations. Each manuscript type undergoes rigorous peer review by experts in behavioral theory, measurement, and methodology.
Original Research Articles
Empirical studies investigating behavioral mechanisms, cognitive processes, social behavior patterns, or psychological constructs using quantitative or qualitative methodologies.
Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analyses
Comprehensive syntheses of behavioral research literature, meta-analytic investigations of effect sizes, or theoretical integrations of behavioral phenomena across studies.
Measurement & Methodology Papers
Development and validation of behavioral assessment instruments, novel measurement approaches, psychometric analyses, or methodological innovations in behavioral research.
Theoretical & Conceptual Papers
Novel theoretical frameworks for understanding behavior, conceptual analyses of behavioral constructs, or integrative models bridging multiple behavioral domains.
Replication Studies
Direct or conceptual replications of important behavioral findings, investigations of boundary conditions, or extensions of previous behavioral research with new populations or contexts.
Short Communications
Brief reports of preliminary behavioral findings, pilot studies, novel observations, or time-sensitive behavioral research requiring rapid dissemination.
Focus on Behavioral Mechanisms: We prioritize research examining behavioral theory, psychological processes, measurement approaches, and social behavior patterns.
