Biography
Leon Bobrowski is affiliated with the Nalecz Institute of Biocybernetics and Biomedical Engineering in Poland, where his research focuses on machine learning methods for feature selection, classification, and medical data analysis. His work encompasses the development of linear separability techniques, including relaxed linear separability (RLS) approaches for gene and feature subset selection, as well as applications in clinical decision support systems such as the HEPAR diagnostic system. With over 13 indexed publications, his most-cited work is "Complexes of Low Dimensional Linear Classifiers with L1 Margins" (2021). His contributions span clustering algorithms, multivariate decision tree induction, and the application of computational methods to predict inflammation, cardiovascular disease, and survival outcomes in patients with chronic kidney disease and those on dialysis.
