Biological Anthropologists

Biological anthropologists study humans from an evolutionary perspective through the lens of biological evolution. This type of research involves observing the similarities and differences between human populations, examining human anatomy and physiology, and analyzing human behavior. It is important for understanding the biological basis of human changes that have occurred over time. Biological anthropologists may use their knowledge to examine how cultures, environments, and technologies have impacted human evolution. Additionally, they may work on projects such as reconstructing extinct species or building models to predict how changes in the environment may affect human populations in the future. They may also collaborate with other scientists to uncover insights into disease and health risks, as well as to develop evidence-based health policies. By understanding human evolution, biological anthropologists can help provide insight into our past and help shape the future of our species.
