- Advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in hydrology, water resources, or related water science field

- Previous peer review experience demonstrating fair, constructive evaluation skills
- Commitment to timely handling of editorial responsibilities for water manuscripts
Time commitment: Editorial board members typically handle 3-6 manuscripts annually, requiring approximately 2-4 hours per manuscript for water research assessment.
