Clinical Specialists
Practicing pediatricians with strong publication records and experience in clinical child health research and patient care.
Research Scientists
Basic scientists with pediatric focus including child nutrition, developmental biology, or therapeutic development.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent) with pediatric specialization or child health research focus
- Active research program with recent publications in pediatrics or child nutrition areas
- Previous peer review experience demonstrating fair, constructive evaluation skills
- Commitment to timely handling of editorial responsibilities for child health manuscripts
Time commitment: Editorial board members typically handle 3-6 manuscripts annually, requiring approximately 2-4 hours per manuscript for initial assessment and decision synthesis.
