Faculty and research scientists with expertise in skin disease, cosmetic dermatology, or related clinical specialties.
Clinical Specialists
Practicing dermatologists with strong publication records and experience in clinical skin research and patient care.
Research Scientists
Basic scientists with dermatology focus including skin biology, immunodermatology, or therapeutic development.
- Advanced degree (MD, PhD, or equivalent) with dermatology specialization or skin research focus
- Active research program with recent publications in dermatology or skin medicine areas
- Previous peer review experience demonstrating fair, constructive evaluation skills
- Commitment to timely handling of editorial responsibilities for skin manuscripts
Time commitment: Editorial board members typically handle 3-6 manuscripts annually, requiring approximately 2-4 hours per manuscript for initial assessment and decision synthesis.
