Dr. Ashish Lal Shrestha is an Associate Professor at Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital, Kathmandu, Bagmati Province, Nepal, with over 19 indexed publications spanning diverse clinical and surgical domains. His research encompasses urological interventions, gastrointestinal pathology, and acute clinical presentations, including work on primary obstructive megaureters, enterolithiasis-related small bowel obstruction, and inflammatory fibroid polyps of the colon. His most-cited publication, "Outcome of end cutaneous ureterostomy (ECU) as a non conservative option in the management of primary obstructive megaureters (POM)" (2018), reflects his contributions to pediatric and reconstructive urology.
