Biography
Dr. Sungchhang Kang (PhD, MSc, BSc) is a Lecturer and Researcher at the National Institute of Education, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. He earned his degrees from institutions including Hokkaido University, Khon Kaen University, the Royal University of Phnom Penh, and the Royal University of Agriculture. His research focuses on rumen manipulation and nutrition in ruminant animals, particularly swamp buffaloes and dairy cattle, with emphasis on the use of tropical feed resources such as Leucaena leucocephala, banana flower powder, and mangosteen peel to enhance feed efficiency and manipulate rumen fermentation. His most-cited publication, "Dietary sources and their effects on animal production and environmental sustainability" (2015), has received 98 citations and reflects his contributions to sustainable livestock production systems in tropical regions.
