Biography
Maryam Shabihkhani received her M.D. from Tehran University of Medical Sciences in Iran before relocating to the United States to work in a neuropathology laboratory at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research has focused on evaluating biomarkers and their potential prognostic role in glioblastoma, and she is notably recognized for her work on lung adenocarcinoma premalignancy, including the highly cited publication "Archetype Analysis of Lung Adenocarcinoma Premalignancy Links Heterogeneity in Premalignant Lesions to Diverging Features of Invasive Disease" (2026). She is currently affiliated with the University of California, Los Angeles, where she continues her work in pathology research. Dr. Shabihkhani has pursued training in anatomic and clinical pathology (AP/CP).
