Madalena Barroso, PhD, MSc, is a Research Associate at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf in Hamburg, Germany. She completed her education at Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Farmácia, Universidade de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências, and Universidade Nova de Lisboa Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia. Her research focuses on metabolic disorders and homocysteine metabolism, with her most-cited work, "The Contribution of Homocysteine Metabolism Disruption to Endothelial Dysfunction: State-of-the-Art" (2019), garnering 296 citations.
