Biography

Emad Tolba, MSc, BSc, is a doctoral student at Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz in Mainz, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, specializing in biomaterials research. He completed his education at Johannes Gutenberg Universität Mainz and Mansoura University Faculty of Science. His research focuses on the development of bioactive and biodegradable materials for bone and cartilage tissue engineering, including polyphosphate-based composites, amorphous calcium carbonate systems, and electrospun nanofibrous structures. His most-cited publication, "Development of Electrospun Nanofibrous-Walled Tubes for Potential Production of Photoluminescent Endoscopes" (2021), has received 56 citations, and he has contributed to over 14 indexed publications exploring morphogenetically active scaffolds and biomimetic approaches to regenerative medicine.
