Ring Worm or Tinea
Ringworm, or tinea, is a skin condition caused by fungi. It is characterized by itchy, scaly, circular rashes that may appear on any part of the body. The rash is contagious and can be spread from person to person in close contact, or from contaminated objects, animals, and soil. Treatment options include antifungal cream, shampoo, and tablets. Ringworm is a common and treatable skin condition, however, it should be addressed quickly as it can become more severe and even lead to infection without proper care.
