Agricultural Biochemistry

Agricultural biochemistry is a field of science that looks at how biochemical processes interact with plants and animals in agricultural settings. It is important for understanding the growth, development, and ultimately the success of agricultural systems. This field of study is split into two main areas: plant biochemistry and animal biochemistry. Plant biochemistry focuses on the effects of biochemical processes on the growth and development of crops, while animal biochemistry looks at the metabolic processes of animals, including livestock, that are used in agriculture.
