Toddler Nutrition

Toddler nutrition is the practice of providing a balanced diet to children aged between one and three years old. Good nutrition during this time is essential for healthy growth and development as well as helping to reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases later in life. Toddler nutrition should include an appropriate balance of proteins, carbohydrates, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients. Foods high in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat dairy can provide important nutrients during this critical growth period. Parents should also be aware of any food allergies or food sensitivities their child may have and seek dietary advice from a healthcare professional if required.
