Malnutrition is a global health issue, which is defined as an inadequate consumption of nutrients, leading to an imbalance that can result either in obesity or undernutrition. It is especially prevalent in poorer countries and in those affected by conflict and displacement. Improving access to food and nutrition education is essential to combatting malnutrition.
