Urology Stones and Endourology

Urology Stones and Endourology are two branches of urology, a sub-specialty of medicine. Urology Stones focuses on the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of urinary stone disease. Endourology, meanwhile, is the use of medical instruments such as lasers, stents and other medical devices to treat urologic conditions. The treatment of urinary stones, both through surgery and non-surgical options, is a major focus of both Urology Stones and Endourology. Urology Stones and Endourology are both important as they help patients to better manage their urinary stone disease, as well as provide treatment that reduces the risk of complications such as infection and kidney damage. Furthermore, Urology Stones and Endourology are also important for helping to keep the urinary tract and kidneys healthy.
