Anti-inflammatory Drugs

These drugs are typically used to reduce pain, swelling, and stiffness associated with inflammation. They can also be used to prevent or treat more serious conditions such as heart disease, stroke, and certain cancers. Anti-inflammatory drugs may be taken orally, applied topically, or given as injections. They are generally considered safe and effective, however they can cause side effects such as stomach upset, increased risk of infection, and bleeding.
