Seeds

Seeds are the reproductive organs of flowering plants and contain a stored food supply necessary for the growth of the embryo while it is developing within the seed. Seeds are necessary for the production of crops, without which there would be no food supply. In addition to this, seeds are important for the spread of plants and the diversity of life, both of which are crucial components of a healthy global ecosystem.
